Judy Lee Carpenter is teaching at ESSA this week. What a grand kick off to our 2009 Summer Sessions! She keeps telling us she's retired, but she doesn't teach like she's anywhere near retiring. Judy is an exceptional metalsmith instructor with great energy and the students love her. She's truly a living legend. Her jewelry is amazing.
Take a look at the piece my husband bought me for an anniversary present last year. Click on photo to enlarge.
Judy has been a metalsmith for over 30 years. She's a Eureka Springs artist that shares her gifts locally, regionally and nationally. ESSA hopes Judy Lee never retires from teaching at ESSA. If you've not had the opportunity to learn from her - and if you like metalsmithing and jewelry making - I highly recommend you seize the opportunity to learn from Judy.
Judy Lee is teaching an advanced jewelry class, June 8 - 12, 2009, and a 3-day abbreviated version, Basics in Jewelry Techniques, September 18 - 20. Details and enrollment forms at http://www.esartschool.org/ or call 479-253-5384.
