Review of Chain Making Class

Our new metal-smithing studio, finished just one year ago, is being put to good use. Last summer metal classes filled quickly, and they are this year as well, It's not too late to enroll in summer classes yet, but hurry up to get your first pick!

This past weekend, we offered Chain Making, taught by local jewelry artist, Lyla Allison.
Her class filled to capacity, but Lyla offered personal one-to-one teaching to her students.
In this three day class, students learned to wrap sterling silver and cut their own jump rings, solder the chains, texture and polish and made several pieces of jewelry each.
Essa is offering 5 day classes in many mediums this summer, for adults and children. Please visit our website, www.esartschool.org for more information on all our class offerings.

What a fun class! I like seeing the closeups of the hands at work.
