Some classes are back by popular demand, such as Bookmaking by Dolph Smith and Ceramic Whistles, by Laurie Spencer. But we are also excited about classes we have never offered before.
Our Master's Class for 2009 will be taught by Bob Ebendorf, an inductee into the National Metalsmith's Hall of Fame. Design on the Edge: Jewelry as Personal Adornment is a three-day class working with traditional and alternative materials where students will fashion objects of personal importance, expression, and adornment. This class is offered to Intermediate and Advanced students with metalsmithing experience.
Sculpted Threads, By Jan Hawks;
and Fabric Collage, by Susanne Sanders-Tourtelot.
This just represents a small sampling of courses offered. A total of 56 classes in 5 broad ranges of mediums are offered. Nine classes are offered in the youth category. There is sure to be something for everyone. Sign up before your class of choice is full!
